n had to go to the dean evening with both my hand bandaged like a thai boxer.

n this during the dean s evening

nus flag day.
this has ntg to do with a bendera
this is the day where nus students will go all around sg with a tin can to ask for donations.
our og attendance today wasnt too encouraging. only 7 came.

we each find a good spot, n started flagging.
seems like flagging is pretty common in sg, n sgpeans are also generous with their coins.

we flag till sometime in the afternoon, then decided to take a long break at parkway parade.
which is where, we started bitching.

mainly it was about our og, how our og sux. or rather, how our junior counselors wasnt doing a good job. well, they were always among themselves, n they were always mia. our senior said that we were unlucky to be in such an og, but overall, the seniors agree tat this years o week was one of the best. one said his ogl walk out on the fourth day of his o week, lol, tht must ve been really bad. n tat bizad now is really lacking manpower, for rag n orientations.
our seniors were great, n i d agree tat the j counselors are irresponsible. n maybe the library game was kinda lame, but i guesss i m just the sort of tak apa type, i dint really let it get to me, n i still had plenty fun.

FIC was pretty cool, the nus acapella team was the hightlight of the event. they re fantastic.

o week highlights

och, the haunted hospital.
went there by lorry. n halfway through, we wer inform tat soemthing happen up there.
smu was also there for the o camp. n they must ve make so much noise, the police were there to join them as well.
then we heard they left with the police, n we cont our journey

upon arriving, we were brief by the stationmasters. we were given a lightstick, n a map, n we proceed up the stairs in the hospital in pairs.

the hospital was a old white building, n its really erm, vandalised. 1st part of our mission was just to look at the map n find the staionmaster inside. it wasnt really tough, but lighted with only a glowstick, we missed the sign tat we were suppose to see, n got a little loss. luckily xy got a phone, n she called the stationmaster, 'are we suppose to go up the broken stairs?' 'r we suppose to go in -somewher-. n after backtracking a little, we found the signs n we were on the right track again.

the second part was on the second floor. here there were a lot of toilets, n broken glass, n conteng ed walls. this time we had to search for 6 ice cream stick scattered in this floor.
we managed to find 5, n we were escorted out.

it was a pretty fun trip, nobody saw anything out of the ordinary, n no one was there to scares us on purpose. it was dark, so it was more of a scare urself thing la, n the gal was even mroe compose than i m.

after that, we board the lorry n had a pain in the ass ride back to skool.

sentosa
we went to sentosa beach yesterday
it was a day full of beach games. wet, fun, n tiring.

one of the games was 'do u think i m sexy'
first each og would sent a representative to compete.
they will be introduced. n they are given 20 mins to be prepared by the og members to look as sexy as possible. n station master will be walking around giving away accessories like scarfs n undies for the og to prep up the contestants. well, our og manage to get a pink n white panties by dunking a stationmaster in the sea.

after the times up, the contestant were gathered
it was really weird, one had coconuts n seaweeds, while another was topless n painted on.
they did a walk n pose, n were asked a few questions. this is the part where they try to look as slutty as possible to woo the judges, the whole process was bloody hilarious.

after all the ass smacking n whip lashing,
it was the last part of the contest, the contestants n their og will run around the beach, n ask ppl to whistle if u think i m sexy. most ppl look shocked, some laugh, n a little looked alittle pissed by being disturbed, but most still whistled. n of coz, we avoided children.

n once again, gathered, n all the contestants, made a short baywatch video - running on the beach.

damn excited to be in the biz ad (business admin) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway, things here are a little different.
well, its more civilised here, most ppl seems nicer, polite, n here cars would slow down n wait for ppl standing by the side to cross.

in it seems more open here.
they gave every new student a men magazine (maxim), which altho is no playboy, but its still shows more than the fhm in msia.
n even part of the orientation includes a night at zouk :)

n sg seems proud of their singlish, there s a cultural awareness event there helps foreigners understand singlish btter, n part of our biz ad cheer goes something liek this
